20 years of motorsports experience put into event
The 6th Annual Ohio Valley Motorsports Show is owned and promoted by TL Enterprises of Ohio, LLC, a company owned by veteran racing promoter T. J. Layne.  Layne began his career in motorsports in 2004 by serving as the public relations director  for the Rocky Top Raceway.  In 2005, Layne was moved to the track promoter position that he held at the speedway through the end of the 2010 season.  In 2011, Layne moved on as co-owner of H&L Motorsports, LLC, the company that held the lease and revived the famed Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, OH.  Layne held that position through the 2015 season.  In 2020, Layne began working as the track announcer and public relations director for the Ona Speedway.  In 2023, Layne took over as promoter of the Ona Speedway and race director for the Midwest Modifieds Tour.

In addition to all of the years as a track promoter and operator, Layne was a columnist for the RPM Racing Newspaper for many years and still fills in at local tracks as an announcer.  Layne also promoted the Local Dirt Racers Swap Meet in South Point, OH in January 2015.  It was a successful small scale swap meet, with all eyes now turned on building this large scale Ohio Valley Motorsports Show a premiere regional event to promote racing in the Ohio Valley region.
